Turning mistakes into wisdom

When we make a mistake, it’s easy to fall into regret or self-judgment. Shifting to “now I know” can bring a sense of peace and turn the moment into something that supports growth.

A little lovenote for you when you get in your own way or make a mistake (as we all do)…

…rather than going into regret, beating yourself up, or blaming anyone else…

…what I find it so helpful to do is simply take a deep breath, and say these three words:

“Now I know.”

It’s such a simple and gentle way to punctuate the experience with a bit of peace…

…to remind ourselves that the experience isn’t wasted or a pure loss —

because of what it taught or reminded us of.

(And we humans often need several reminders here at Earth School, so we can keep gaining wisdom at a deeper level).

In other words…

When we grow the lesson, we lessen the loss.

So, I am sending this message from my heart to yours right now — with a whole lot of compassion, comfort, and reassurance:

Now you know.

Now we know.

Onward and upward!

And great, big hugs xoxoxo
