With a first career as an educator, an MA in Art Education (2003), a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction (2008), and certifications as a Thriving Relationship Coach, Joy Potential Coach, and Reiki III Master/Practitioner, Gabrièle is grounded not only in teaching and learning, but also in wonder, awe, and the understanding that all things connect.
Gabrièle is passionate about growing through conflict and obstacles in all stages of life. As a former middle and high school teacher and university professor, with 26 years of experience in education, Gabrièle appreciates the challenges young people face and welcomes working with them just as much as she enjoys working with people in mid-life and beyond.
Constantly listening, studying, and connecting, it is her life’s work to understand the soul and science of relationships. Areas of special interest and expertise include effective communication, repairing after conflict, rebuilding intimacy after challenges, pre-marriage coaching, and parenting.
Good relationships (and thus a good life, the research tells us), require practice, not perfection. Gabrièle practices everyday living with intention and joy with her husband of 16 years, their wonderful teenage son (and greatest teacher), and a large extended family of loved ones.
