One of my personal mantras I love to use is:
“Get clear before you steer.”
>> Why?
Because we tend to end up in whatever direction we are facing.
Therefore, before starting a day or entering into experiences, I love to take a moment to breathe, perhaps place my hand on my heart — and to get clear, over and over…
…with what I want to feel, how I want to show up for others and for life, what I want to experience, what I want to create, what values I want to stay connected with, where I want to direct my energies, what my heart and intuition are calling for, and so on.
If we don’t do this, it’s so easy to feel out of alignment with who we truly are,
to unconsciously fall back into patterns that may have once served a purpose but no longer do,
to feel like we are just bumping around in this life, perhaps syncing up with whatever distractions or voices are the loudest, in our mind or in the environment around us — rather than with what’s most important.
It’s easy to feel busy and yet, at the end of the day, unfulfilled.
However, when we take a moment to get clear before we steer…
…we direct our minds, bodies, hearts, and spirits towards that which we want to grow and feed — in ourselves and in the world,
and we sync back up with all of the feelings, qualities, values, and priorities, that reflect the highest vision for our lives…
…and we, therefore, become exponentially more likely to stay true to our souls and innermost selves,
to end up somewhere we love being,
and to show up for the world in a way that is of the greatest contribution.
So this is just a little loving encouragement, if it serves you, to take those moments to get clear before you steer, over and over.
I hope you find, as I have, that it ends up being extraordinarily time-saving and life-giving.
Sending big hugs and blessings from my heart to you!
Abundant Love and Joy,
